Manage Tests in Test Center

On this page:

Use Test Center to locate a test and make it available for students to take online or with scan sheets. Preview, edit, copy, or delete tests, and download test booklets and answer keys.

After a test is administered, return to Test Center to choose from the scoring options, such as Scoring Assignment and Online Scoring, or review student results using the Student Item Analysis report.

Find Tests in Test Center

Test Center provides a list of tests available to you, which includes tests that meet any of the following criteria:

  • Tests that you created.
  • Tests with an open administration window are included by default unless you clear the Limit to Open Test Window option.
  • Any of your students are in the student population defined by the test course type and grade-level settings.

Note:

Why are tests that I expect to be available not included in the list in Test Center?

  • For a test to be available in Test Center, it must have a Course Type and Grade Level entered in the Properties section.
  • Initially, only tests with an open test administration window are displayed. If you want tests with a closed administration window included, clear the Limit to Open Test Window option.
Tip: If a test has been deleted, you can use the global search to find and restore the test.
Follow these steps to narrow the list or to find a single test.

  1. Choose Tests from the main navigation menu, then choose Test Center.
  2. To include tests outside the current test window, clear Limit to Open Test Window.

Note: Only tests ready to be administered to students (tests with a valid Course Type and Grade Level) are included in the search results since these are the only tests that you can administer in Test Center. If you need to search for tests, use the global search in the menu of any Performance Matters page.

  3. To locate a specific test, use Search by Title or ID.
  4. To narrow the test list, choose from the Course SubjectAssessment Category, or Test Grade Level selections.
