Mark an Existing Item as Outdated

You can mark an existing item as Outdated from the Item Creation page.

You must have the appropriate edit permissions for the existing item, and the item status must be Accepted.

Items marked as outdated are no longer available to be added to new tests but remain on existing tests.

1. Navigate to the item you want to mark as outdated from the global search or the Item Creation page.
2. Click Mark as Outdated.
   
   

• After the item status is set to Outdated, the item cannot be found using the global search after navigating from this page.
• Select Mark as Available immediately if you changed the item in error. This option is not available after navigating away from this page, and you must submit a support ticket through the help center to make the item available again.
