Enhanced Health

To enable Enhanced Health, the Enable Enhanced Health System Features checkbox must be selected. Once enabled, then configure security permissions for the Enhanced Health pages.

Notes: 

  • Only applicable if using Enhanced Health.
  • PowerPack Health is not compatible with Enhanced Health. If PowerPack Health is currently enabled, do not enable Enhanced Health. 
  • If enhanced health is enabled, once the student has at least one active health concern, legacy active medical alerts display along with the active health concern. Additionally, active health plans associated to the student will also display.

Enable Enhanced Health

  1. On the start page, choose District under Setup in the main menu. 
  2. Under Health, click Health Setup
  3. Click the Setup tab.
  4. Select the Enable Enhanced Health System Features checkbox.
  5. Enter information as needed:

    Display Office Visits and Screenings entered at other schools

    Select the checkbox to display a student's screenings and office visits entered at a previous school when viewing the student's health records. Otherwise, leave the checkbox blank. By default, this setting is disabled.

    Default Medication End Date

    When a medication is associated to a student, this setting indicates the default medication end date that appears. It can be updated as needed.

    Use the pop-up menu to indicate the time period that students' medication is valid and may be administered:

    • One Year (default)
    • One Month
    • End of Calendar Year
    • Exit Date of Student
    Hide health insurance questions in E-Registration? Select the checkbox to hide health insurance questions in E-Registration.
    If a student does not have Health Insurance, should a question asking if they are interested in a state plan be displayed?Select the checkbox to display in E-Registration.

    Note: Only appears if the Hide health insurance questions in E-Registration? checkbox is not selected.

    What is the name of your state's Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP)?Select the checkbox to display in E-Registration.

    Note: Only appears if the Hide health insurance questions in E-Registration? checkbox is not selected.

    Question as it appears in Parent Portal:If you answered no to the health insurance question above, are you interested in the state health insurance plan ()?Select the checkbox to display in E-Registration.

  6. Click Submit.
