Reset Password

Using this setting, you can reset or change a user's password.

Note: Only applicable for users who have created their PowerSchool ID and are using PowerSchool ID as their authentication method.

  1. Navigate to the District Details page.
  2. On the District tab, click the Users tab. The Users tab displays.
  3. Do one of the following:
    • Hover over the user and click the Reset Password icon (Rewind). 
    • Click the name of the user and then click Reset Password.
  4. On the Reset Password pop-up, click Reset.
  5. Click Okay.
